Music “Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Among one of the numerous ways we give God glory is through music. Our church has several groups that meet regularly as well as opportunities for special events and special music. Groups sing both contemporary and traditional styles. Children's Choir is for K-4th grades. This energetic bunch meets on Sunday mornings from 8:45-9:00. They sing once a month and also present a Christmas program. They are led by Pam Crowe and Jill Barnhart. Handbell Choir is a ringing ensemble made up of all age adults. The group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:20-7:00 and provides special music for our worship services. This choir rehearses from September through May and is directed by Carol Bentsen. Adult Choir is for high schoolers and beyond. It's a group that sings in harmony and shares music one to two times a month. The choir rehearses Wednesdays from 7:15-8:00 and is led by Jill Barnhart. FBC Praise Team is open to anyone and is a musical support for our worship service. This group encourages those who would like to share their vocal ability, and those who wish to play an instrument in contemporary worship. This group leads the music vocally and instrumentally throughout the worship service. The praise team rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00. We love to praise God through the best of traditional and contemporary music knowing that such diversity reveals the rich beauty of the Kingdom of God.
