Student Ministry

The mission of the First Baptist Moline Student Ministry is to lead students toward a stronger faith and lifestyle commitment to Jesus Christ.

The Student Ministry at First Baptist Moline is one based on compassion, joy and love for all people. Through praise, prayer, discipleship, service, outreach and fellowship we strive to worship God for whom He is and what He does. Diverse in culture, economic status, and age, we do not merely tolerate our differences, we celebrate them!

Junior High Ministry

FUSION ~ Fusing our hearts together in Christ

God has blessed FUSION with the opportunity to blend a Middle School Ministry of students in fifth through eighth grades with a variety of E.L.L. students in grades five through twelve.

What We Do

Sunday FUSION Fellowship 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Wednesday Night Bible Study - 6:15 - 7:15

Senior High Ministry

C. A. S. A. ~ Christians Are Super Awesome

C.A.S.A. is our Senior High Ministry for students in 9th thru 12th grade. Leader is Willie Phillis 309-762-7172 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 309-762-7172 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.

CASA (Christians Are Super Awesome) enjoy a variety of awesome activities. In terms of outreach, we love to serve the senior citizens of our church in their personal needs, including those in nursing homes and assisted living, and assist in local feeding programs. We love to have FUN which includes just hanging out eating pizza, playing ultimate frisbee, having a jam session, or watching movies together. We might even have a food fight or water balloon battle. (We'll clean up, of course.) We have fun but also look for real answers through Bible Study, tackling such topics as "How to be Happy", "Dealing with Conflict", and "Who is Jesus". We believe that following Christ is NOT boring! We believe Christ is awesome and that "Christians Are Super Awesome." (CASA!)

**Calling all young adults! We need you for our Next Generation Praise Service! If you can sing or play an instrument or be a worship leader, please talk with the Pastors. This service will be informal and relaxed, yet sincere time of praise and worship. Our aim is to worship God passionately and study God's Word passionately, confident that we will encounter the Living God together. Families and friends can gather around a table and share a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. You will be inspiredand your spirit lifted as we worship together. Our Kick-off Praise and Worship Service is Saturday, November 13, 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
